The site is in Streatham, a suburb in South London. Planning Permission was granted for the demolition of the existing dwelling house and erection of new 4-storey building, plus basement to provide 1 x 3-bed apartment, 2 x 2-bed apartments and 3 x 1-bed apartments, together with associated bin store and cycle storage. The build in this instance was a modern method of construction based on timber frame. As a result, factory inspections were carried out to ensure the quality of construction prior to installation.
Our role was to lead the project as the project manager, followed by the contract administrator. We assessed and maintained control of the quality of works, budget and program through to planned practical completion.
